Come join us for the 4th annual "Fair Oaks JINGLE BOWL"

This is a fun start to kicking off the Holiday season.

Grab your co-workers, family, neighbors and friends and join in on a fun afternoon of Bowling.

 Pre-Registration is required $25 pp - Sign up as an individual or a team of 4 or 6.

We encourage you to wear an Ugly sweater or dress your team up in Holiday theme.

We will have Raffles and Prizes too!

The entire community is invited to attend the Christmas in Fair Oaks Tree Lighting event! The annual holiday celebration will feature live music, community stage performances, craft vendors, children's games, and activities, food trucks, hot cocoa, Santa & Mrs. Claus, tree lighting, and warm Fair Oaks charm for the entire family. General Admission, parking, pictures with Santa, and children's games and activities are free.

4:00pm - General Parking Opens

4:30pm- 7:00pm - Activity Booths, Vendors, Food Trucks

5:00pm-6:30pm (line closes at 6:15pm) - Photos w/ Santa

6:15pm - Line Closes for Photos w/ Santa

6:45pm - CommUNITY Candles (until supplies last)

7:00pm - Tree Lighting followed by Christmas Carols with Pete Schroeder

General parking is first come, first served in the upper lot of Fair Oaks Park.  There will be no general parking at the main Fair Oaks Park entrance (Temple Park Road)

ADA Parking should enter at General Parking

Please be aware of signage, non-event parking areas, safety and parking laws, and please be considerate to neighbors in the area!

Giving Back

The Fair Oaks Recreation & Park District will be collecting canned food to be donated to the Orangevale/Fair Oaks Food Bank.

Support the lighting of the Fair Oaks Holiday Tree by purchasing an ornament. A special tag with your name will be attached and hung on the 2024 Holiday Tree for all to see! More details coming soon!

We need lots of volunteers to help set up, clean up and decorate. This is a great way to get your community service hours in. Ages 14 and up.

Ring in the holidays with this "Light Up! Fair Oaks" holiday light, house decorating contest!  Sign up your house to enter! Entries are limited to houses in Fair Oaks (95628).  All entered residences addresses will be advertised for the community to view your decorations and vote on their favorite. Entry with the greatest number of votes will win a gift card provided by  Katie Yount - State Farm Agent as well as a decorative trophy!

Santa will be in town and he plans to make some special visits to all the good girls and boys of Fair Oaks!  Santa and his top elf will stop at registered residences for photos, candy canes, and conversation.

2024 Registration Details for Santa Stops - Registration will open November 1, 2024

Please be sure to read through these IMPORTANT registration details PRIOR to registering.

Santa Stops are $30 (plus transaction fees) for each residence/stop (no more than 8 individuals per residence).

Santa is only in town for a short window of time. With that being said, he can only visit Fair Oaks residents. Non-Fair Oakians may sign up to visit Santa at Fair Oaks Park and should arrive between 3:50p-4:00p.

Santa Stops will take place on either December 9 or 10 between 4:15pm-7:45pm. You must be available for your visit to happen on your registered night and be available for the entire time indicated, 4:15pm-7:45pm. North pole Elves will choose the most optimal route so as not to backtrack. You will be notified of your assigned time (within a 30-minute window) at least three days before Santa's departure. 

Stops are quick (5 minutes) and designed for one household (max 8 individuals). If you have multiple families &/or friends that wish to get a photo with Santa please register for an additional stop.

Santa Stops will take place out front of your residence. Be prepared for Santa's arrival (look out for his "sleigh" decked out in lights and listen for carols). If you plan to take photos you may consider a photo backdrop, special chair, or bench to sit on. Consider lighting and ensure your phone or camera is charged and working.

Santa can bring a special gift to a loved one! All gifts must be pre-labeled with the individual's name and address of stop. All gifts must be dropped off at our District office by December 1st by 5:00pm.

PLEASE NOTE: REFUNDS WILL NOT BE GRANTED AFTER DECEMBER 01, 2024. NO EXCEPTIONS. WE ARE UNABLE TO TRANSFER YOUR REGISTRATION OR CHANGE YOUR ADDRESS AFTER DECEMBER 01, 2024.
