Arts in California Parks, a new program from the California Department of Parks and Recreation, supports artists, culture bearers, California Native American tribes, and communities in creating artwork that offers perspective on our past and present and help us imagine our potential. The Local Parks Grant Program awards art installations and programming in our local park as a catalyst for sustainable community connection, health, and well-being.
